How much does a website cost?
+
Websites start from KES 5,000 for a basic 5-page site and go up depending on complexity, features and platform. E-commerce and web apps with M-Pesa integration start from KES 40,000. We always discuss your budget first and build what makes sense for your stage of growth.
What exactly is AI automation and do I need it?
+
AI automation means your business responds to enquiries, qualifies leads, sends follow-ups and books appointments automatically — without you lifting a finger. If you get more than 10 enquiries a week and struggle to follow up consistently, you need it. It typically pays for itself within the first month.
How do I pay and what are the payment terms?
+
We accept M-Pesa via Paybill 247 247 (Account 109481). A 40% deposit is required to start and the balance is paid on delivery or after your demo sign-off. For monthly services, billing is at the start of each month. Receipts are issued for all payments.
How long does it take to deliver a project?
+
Basic websites take 3 to 7 days. Web apps and e-commerce platforms take 2 to 4 weeks. AI automation setups take 1 to 2 weeks depending on complexity. School and SME systems take 4 to 8 weeks. All timelines are confirmed before work starts and you get progress updates throughout.
What happens after my site launches?
+
All projects include 30 days of free support after launch. Website packages include 365 days of free Firebase hosting and 6 months of dedicated support for fixes, updates and guidance. After that, we offer affordable monthly maintenance and hosting packages.
Is the strategy call really free?
+
Yes, completely free and with no obligation. The call takes 20 to 30 minutes. We do a quick audit of your current digital presence, identify the biggest growth opportunities, and give you a clear, prioritised plan. Whether you work with us after or not is entirely your decision.
How does hosting work after the free 3 months?
+
Website packages currently include 365 days of free Firebase hosting (some legacy packages were 3 months — check your specific quote). After the free period ends, hosting continues on a small monthly fee, usually in the KES 2,500–3,000 range depending on your site's complexity and traffic. You're never locked in: you can migrate your files to any host you choose at any point, since the code and content belong to you once the project is paid in full. We'll flag the renewal at least two weeks before the free period ends so there are no surprise cutoffs.
What's the difference between a PWA and a normal website?
+
A normal website only works in a browser tab. A PWA (Progressive Web App) is a website built so it can be "installed" straight from the browser — it gets an icon on your home screen, opens in its own window without browser chrome, and can cache content so parts of it still work with a weak or no connection. For a business, that means customers get an app-like experience without you paying for a separate native app or dealing with Play Store/App Store review. Sonnies Crumbs and this TechGPT site are both built as PWAs for exactly that reason.
Do you build native mobile apps, or only websites and PWAs?
+
Both, depending on what actually fits your goal. Most businesses are better served by a PWA — cheaper, faster to build, and works on every device without app store friction. But if you specifically need Play Store/App Store presence, offline-heavy functionality, or deep device features (camera, GPS, push notifications at OS level), we build native and cross-platform apps with Flutter. We'll tell you honestly if a PWA covers your needs before quoting a full native build, since native apps cost significantly more and take longer.
Can you integrate M-Pesa into a system I already have?
+
Yes — M-Pesa integration (STK Push, Paybill/Till reconciliation, or C2B callbacks via the Daraja API) is one of our most requested standalone services, separate from a full build. We review your existing codebase or platform first to confirm compatibility, then wire in the integration with proper error handling for the failure cases that generic tutorials skip — timeouts, duplicate callbacks, and reconciliation when a payment succeeds on Safaricom's side but the callback is delayed.
What if I don't know exactly what I need yet?
+
That's genuinely fine, and it's what the free strategy call is for. Most clients arrive knowing the problem ("I'm losing orders in WhatsApp chaos" or "I need to stop tracking fees on a spreadsheet") without knowing the technical solution. We'll ask about your workflow, your budget range, and your timeline, then recommend the smallest system that actually solves the problem — not the most expensive one we could sell you.
Do you offer ongoing maintenance, or is it one-off delivery?
+
Both are available. Every project ships with a free support window (30 days minimum, up to 6 months on some packages) covering bug fixes and guidance on the delivered system. After that, most clients move to an affordable monthly maintenance and hosting retainer, which covers hosting, security updates, small content changes, and priority response if something breaks. New features outside the original scope are quoted separately, so you always know what you're paying for.
