These Terms & Conditions govern any service engagement between TechGPT ("we", "us", "TechGPT") and a client ("you") arising from this website, WhatsApp, email or any other channel we use to communicate. By requesting a quote, booking a strategy call, or making a payment, you agree to these terms.
TechGPT provides tech support, AI automation, website and app development, POS and business systems, SEO, ad campaign management and related digital services, as described on this site or agreed separately in writing/WhatsApp with a client.
Prices shown via the on-site Quote Builder are estimates based on the options selected and are provided in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless stated otherwise. A final price is only confirmed once project scope is agreed directly with TechGPT. Prices may vary based on complexity, timeline, and specific client requirements not captured by the Quote Builder.
Estimated delivery timeframes shown on this site (e.g. "7 days", "21 days") are approximate and depend on project complexity, how promptly the client provides required content/feedback, and current workload. Delays caused by late client feedback, content, or approvals are not counted against the estimated timeline.
Each project includes a reasonable number of revision rounds as agreed at the start of the engagement. Requests that materially expand the original scope may be treated as additional work and quoted separately.
Where hosting is included, the free period (currently 3 months on most packages) begins from the project's live/delivery date. After this period, hosting continues on a paid monthly basis unless the client migrates elsewhere. Free dedicated support (where offered) is scoped to bug fixes and guidance on the delivered system — new features are quoted separately.
If a client cancels a project after a deposit has been paid but before work has substantially begun, a partial refund may be issued at TechGPT's discretion, less any costs already incurred (e.g. domain, third-party services purchased). Once development work has substantially begun, deposits are generally non-refundable, as they cover time and resources already committed.
Upon full and final payment, ownership of the delivered custom code, design and content created specifically for the client's project transfers to the client, unless otherwise agreed. TechGPT retains the right to showcase completed projects in its own portfolio, case studies and marketing materials, including on this website, unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
Costs for third-party services required for a project — domain registration, premium plugins/APIs, SMS gateway credits, app store fees, etc. — are the client's responsibility unless explicitly included in the agreed price.
TechGPT will make reasonable efforts to deliver reliable, well-tested systems, but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of any third-party service (Firebase, M-Pesa/Daraja, hosting providers, etc.) that a delivered project depends on. TechGPT's liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the amount paid by the client for that specific project.
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes will first be addressed through direct discussion between the parties before any other action is pursued.
